Identify selected named wye and single-phase AC voltage labels. Keep line-to-line and line-to-neutral values separate before choosing a voltage-drop input.
LOOK UP & COMPARE
Search within the verified subset. Numeric sizes match complete designations; a nearby size is a candidate, not an exact match.

Use this value
Review the selected values and units in the calculator before applying them.
Read the named nominal system values without forcing rounded labels to equal √3 exactly. For a balanced wye calculation, VLL=√3VLN; use the actual relevant measurement.
CHECK THE METHOD
Worked example
208Y/120 means nominal 208 V line-to-line and 120 V line-to-neutral. A three-phase load uses the former; a line-neutral single-phase load uses the latter.
A nominal label is not a measured supply or a wiring instruction. Wye relationships do not apply unchanged to split-phase, delta or high-leg systems. Confirm the load connection.
